An ultrasound/sonogram provides you with accurate information that will show you how far along you are and confirm there is no ectopic pregnancy.

If you are considering an abortion, Florida law requires you to have a sonogram. We provide an ultrasound at no cost and an accurate picture of your pregnancy.
Accurately dating your pregnancy will determine the type of procedure available to you.

Once your pregnancy test and ultrasound exam are complete, the nurse or physician will provide you with information and talk over any concerns you may have. Because we do not perform or refer for abortions or make any money from any choice you make, there is no pressure.
Ultrasounds can also be used to look for any potential complication such as an ectopic (tubal) pregnancy which can be life-threatening. (See “Is it an Ectopic Pregnancy” below)
*Our ultrasounds are not designed to determine the sex of the baby or diagnose medical conditions, but we will be happy to provide referrals to local doctors.

Is it an Ectopic Pregnancy?
In 1 of every 50 pregnancies, the fertilized egg stays in the fallopian tube. In that case, it’s called an ectopic pregnancy or a tubal pregnancy. In rare cases, the fertilized egg attaches to one of your ovaries or another organ in your abdomen. In either case, it puts you at risk. Ectopic pregnancies require emergency treatment.
