Pregnancy Symptoms
Before you even take a test, you may notice some early symptoms of pregnancy, which could include:
- A missed period
- Tender or swollen breasts
- Nausea, with or without vomiting
- Needing to use the bathroom more than usual
- Fatigue or feeling more tired than normal
Even if you have been using birth control, pregnancy can still happen. If any of these symptoms sound familiar, a pregnancy test after a missed period will give you an initial answer.

We offer no-cost pregnancy testing. You may have already taken a home test, and that is often the first step. Coming in gives you more confidence in your results and a space to ask questions without any pressure.
Home tests can sometimes give incorrect results if taken too early or not used as directed.
Confirm Your Positive Test Result
A home pregnancy test can tell you that hCG is present, but it cannot verify your pregnancy. If your test comes back positive, you may be eligible for a limited OB ultrasound.
An ultrasound can show:
- How far along you are
- Whether the pregnancy is located in the uterus
- Whether cardiac activity is present
These details are important as you think through your options and protect your health.
